As you enter this new chapter with Selah Seminary, our goal is to walk with you in clarity, alignment, and spiritual maturity. The steps below outline what you can expect as we prepare you to fully integrate into our covenant community and begin your transformational journey.
After you submit your Orientation Assessment, our leadership team will take time to prayerfully and thoroughly review your responses. This assessment helps us discern your understanding of our culture, values, and procedures, and it allows us to see how you process real-life ministry scenarios. Your reflections help us determine how to best support you as you transition into the seminary.
Your admission process cannot move forward until your Letter of Recommendation is received and approved. Because covenant relationships matter deeply to us, this letter serves as a witness from someone who knows you well and can speak to your character, spiritual maturity, and readiness for this journey.
Once your recommender submits the letter, we will notify you immediately. We will also personally follow up with your recommender to ensure it is completed within the 30-day window.
After your Letter of Recommendation has been approved, you will receive an email with instructions to officially onboard to our online learning platform.
Please note: you will not gain access to the learning platform until after the New Year.
As you settle into the Selah family, we want to understand how you feel led to partner with us in this season. Since every student’s capacity and conviction is different, we give you the opportunity to communicate how you desire to sow—whether through your time, your gifts, your service, or your resources.
There is no requirement to give financially; this step simply helps us understand how you feel called to participate in the life and mission of the community.
This onboarding invitation marks the moment you are fully welcomed into the Selah Seminary family and positioned to begin the transformational work God has called you into.
