At Selah Seminary, we believe every transition should reflect clarity, honor, alignment, and spiritual maturity. Whether a student feels led by God into a new assignment or is navigating conflict or tension, we desire for every departure to be handled with healing, integrity, and blessing.

All formal transition steps are overseen by the Vice President of Selah Seminary, with a final conversation from the President before the departure is complete.


1. Pray and Discern Thoroughly

Students begin by:

Purpose: Ensures the decision is spiritually grounded, not reactive.

2. Contact the Vice President to Request a Private Meeting

Students begin the transition process by sending a private message to the Vice President:

“I am prayerfully discerning my next steps and would like to schedule a meeting regarding a potential transition.”

Purpose: Prevents silent withdrawal or abrupt exits and establishes transparency.

3. Attend a Discernment Meeting With the Vice President
